Who & When?
From 21 to 24 of February 2017, five people from Lessons for Life Foundation, our partner in education, have visited UYISENGA NI IMANZI.
We were very pleased to host them, to go on field and share our experiences, to learn from them on collecting photos and case studies. We have appreciated working with them and shared lessons with them.
What?
With our team, they met many people:
• UNM staff;
• Children ;
• Students;
• Teachers;
• Local leaders;
• Community members and parents.

With them,we visited schools in Busanza sector of Kicukiro district in Kigali, Mwulire sector of Rwamagana district, in Cyahafi and Nyamirambo sectors of Nyarugenge district. They also met with kids in 4 pre-schools in Mwulire sector where they applauded for this community innovation at low cost which allow to children to grow up in friendly environment.
Results

Children shared their daily life, parents shared their family stories, teachers and community child protection structures talked on their contribution in education and their respective initiative. For instance, parents in Kabuya cell were the initiator of community pre-primary center which were later installed in 30 cells of Mwulire sector in Rwamagana district, becoming a share learning tool for many community structures
